THE BLACK LIBERATION FRONT

1971–1993

EXHIBITION

This exhibition includes profiles of BLF members, photographs, a historical timeline, interview excerpts, and contextual information. It explores the aims, strategies, political identity, achievements, and legacy of the BLF. We would like to thank our interviewees, Joan Anim-Addo, Jackie Daniel, Lennox Drayton, Nkrumah Pepukayi, Terry Rocque, Desrie Thomson-George, Winston Trew, Tee White, and Ansel Wong for sharing their memories and inspiring this exhibition. Photographs from our project launch at Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2017 can be found on our gallery page. The exhibition was designed by Yijing Li and researched by YHP.
